Lawyer Jiang Tianyong goes on trial for 'subversion'

Jiang Tianyong, a Beijing lawyer, went on trial for alleged subversion in a local court in Hunan province on Tuesday.
Live footage of the trial of 46-year-old Jiang was broadcast on the official account of Changsha Intermediate People's Court on Sina Weibo, the Chinese twitter-like service.
The hearing is open to reporters from domestic and foreign media organizations.
