'Red notice' fugitive sentenced to 8 years in jail for graft

HANGZHOU -- Once China's most wanted fugitive, Yang Xiuzhu, was sentenced to eight years in jail Friday for embezzlement and taking bribes by a court in East China.
Yang, former vice mayor of Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, was number one on China's top 100 fugitives, which were released in an Interpol "red notice" in 2015.
