Three mini gyms have been set up at a creative industrial park in Shanghai's Huangpu district.
Called "Park Box", these facilities are among the city's 32 shared gym capsules that are open around the clock. People can use the fitness equipment in these capsules for 10 yuan ($1.6) per hour.
"The boxes, though small, are very practical and convenient for use. Each of them is equipped with a treadmill, a set of dumbbells and an intelligent coaching system," the person in charge of the mini-gyms program was quoted as saying by Eastday.com.
These mini-gyms have three sizes, which are 8 square meters, 18 sq m and 28 sq m respectively.
