Polish Academy of Sciences grants highest honor to China professor

Sun Dawen, a professor with South China University of Engineering, was elected as the foreign academician of the Polish Academy of Sciences with the highest votes in a recent plenary meeting of the academy.
It is the greatest academic honor Poland awards to foreign residents, and fifth academician title Sun has won so far.
Sun, a member of the central committee of the Zhigong Party, is director of the Research Center of Modern Food Engineering with South China University of Engineering.
