Beijing Guoan tie Chongqing Lifan 3-3
BEIJING - Beijing Guoan visited Chongqing Lifan and tied their match 3-3 on Sunday in the 6th round of the 2018 Chinese Super League (CSL).
With eight minutes into the game, Chongqing established a comfortable 2-0 lead through Brazilian striker Luiz Fernando and Peng Xinli.
After Brazilian winger Renato Augusto pulled one back for Beijing in the 9th minute, Chongqing regained their two-goal lead again in the 19th minute when Brazilian forward Alan Kardec netted his header off a pass from Fernando.
Ten minutes later, Piao Cheng scored for Beijing before Cedric Bakambu found the equalizer with five minutes into the second half.
With the draw, Beijing ranked fourth while Chongqing stood eighth after six rounds of their CSL matches.
In another game on Sunday, Changchun Yatai beat Henan Jianye 3-0 at home to claim their first win of the season.
