Golden guy Kerr gets his reward

A day after ESPN reported that James will miss Team USA's minicamp in Las Vegas next week, the outlet reported on Tuesday that Stephen Curry will do the same.
The Golden State star and two-time NBA MVP reportedly wants to spend more time with his family, particularly with this being his first offseason with his newborn son, born on July 2.
The minicamp is scheduled for July 25-27.
In April, Team USA announced a 35-player pool from which 12 players will be selected to compete in the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
According to the reports, neither James nor Curry will be excluded from potentially being chosen for the final roster. Last month, Curry helped the Warriors win their third NBA championship in four seasons. Each triumph was against James' Cavaliers, with the Cavs beating the Warriors for the 2016 title.
