Xi's speech at CIIE draws positive reactions

In his speech, President Xi stressed the multilateral trading system and promoted free trade in the world to achieve the goal of economic globalization, to which I completely agree, because there are a lot of developing and less-developed countries in the world that need these kind of liberal trade policies.
But if the developed countries adopt a unilateral trade policy, it's going to be a very harsh blow on a developing country to achieve its dream of development and quality of life .
A developed country should not close its doors to developing countries for vested interests, but rather they should think of taking all smaller countries along on its development quest.
His remarks on cross-border e-commerce and free trade ports is a welcome note for bordering smaller nations like Nepal, as these will help the smaller countries access bigger markets for their local products or tourism by utilizing technology and digital platforms, or to enhance their third country trade through free port facilities.
