A stage play adapted from the 1995 film A Chinese Odyssey Part Two: Cinderella made its debut at the Mei Lanfang Theater in Beijing on Jan 23.
Directed by young directors Huang Yanzhuo and Hou Xiao, the play casts Taiwan actor Michelle Chen as fairy Zixia, theater actors Su Xiaoding and Wang Shanshui as Joker and Monkey, and Zheng Lei as Longevity Monk.
