Statistics show that there are 94 fitness equipment companies operating in the town, producing nearly 2,000 varieties of exercise equipment. According to the local government, the town's fitness equipment is popular in 20 countries and regions throughout Europe, the Americas, and Southeast Asia. The town also leads East China in the overall value of its fitness equipment output. The booming fitness equipment industry has helped increase employment in the area and raised incomes for local farmers.
