On Thursday afternoon, Xi's wife, Peng Liyuan, visited the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, accompanied by Fok Wai-fun, Chui's wife.
After hearing a briefing on the institute's curriculum and student training, Peng watched students mixing drinks and making pastries, including the well-known Portuguese egg tart. She also watched a video introducing local cuisines in Macao and enjoyed a tea art performance.
Peng encouraged students to study hard to gain expertise and make contributions to the building of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and promote cultural exchanges between China and the West.
