From poverty alleviation to rural revitalization, Ningxia Hui autonomous region has its own path for a smooth transition and it will be a major task in the future, Ma Hancheng, vice-chairman of the region, said during the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress.

From preventing people from sliding back into poverty to better managing water resources, Ningxia will explore a novel development pattern to maintain the achievements of poverty alleviation and further improve the quality of people's lives and the region's environment.
