CPC centenary commemorative stamps, envelope debut in Beijing
Commemorative stamps and an envelope celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China debuted on Tuesday in Beijing.
The set, including 20 stamps and one envelope, features key moments of the CPC's accomplishments in the past 100 years, such as the inauguration of the People's Republic of China, reform and opening up and poverty alleviation achievements.
The stamps, with the main colors in red and gold, record the CPC's accomplishments by leading Chinese people to pursue a better and happier life, according to the State Postal Bureau of China.
Ma Junsheng, head of the bureau, said stamps, as the country's calling card, have demonstrated true moments of China's political, economic and social development.
"Stamps are loyal records of history," he said, adding that the set shows the CPC's great achievements.
The stamps and envelope will be available on Thursday.
