COP15 venues will be open to public for free


KUNMING -- Venues of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) will be open to the public free of charge from Oct 18 to Nov 7.
During the period, the public will be able to visit parts of the Kunming Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center, including the main event venue and an exhibition hall, free of charge. The daily opening hours are 9:30 am to 9:30 pm.
The venues will conduct temperature checks, health code checks and security checks of visitors during the period.
The first part of the COP15 was held from Oct 11 to 15 in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, with parallel activities including forums on topics such as climate change and ecological conservation.
