Gu expresses gratitude after winning gold

Gu Ailing of China, who claimed a historic gold medal win at the Beijing Winter Olympics with her first 1620 in the women's freeski big air at Big Air Shougang on Tuesday, hugged Tess Ledeux of France after the competition and said she wanted to thank Ledeux for inspiring her.
Ledeux, who was the first woman to land a 1620 in competition, failed to improve her switch 1440 with her last attempt and settled for silver.
