During the recent May Day holiday, photographers captured dozens of great bustards (Otis tarda) wandering on vast grassland of Xi Ujimchin Banner, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
It is a protected bird species at the national level, with fewer than 2,000 globally. They live in grassland. In autumn, they will migrate to warmer places.
