New era in China: Cuban professor invites family and friends back to Chengdu

Professor Pedro Antonio Valdes Sosa is from Cuba and has lived in Chengdu for nearly eight years. He is not only enjoying the life in Chengdu, but also witnessing the great changes in China in recent years. Society is changing, but tradition remains unchanged. For Professor Pedro, spending time with friends became the biggest thing in the Chinese New Year.
"What distinguishes this time of the year is that we all relax a bit more." To Professor Pedro, the Spring Festival not only means slowing down the work pace, it is a good opportunity to communicate with family and friends without the stress of work.
"Now it's okay to come and let's start playing", Professor Pedro has already prepared for the arrival of his friends to Chengdu.
