Campus play celebrates life of maritime professor

In Wen's later years, he persisted tirelessly, dedicating all his efforts to nurturing outstanding talents for the nation, much like an enduring lighthouse guiding future generations.
Wen's scientific achievements are beyond ordinary reach, while his personal strength is akin to sunlight and air, nurturing everyone around him, said Ma Ziyue, an undergraduate student from the School of Literature and Journalism, who performs the role of Wen.
"I wish I could convey Wen's spirit to the audience, encouraging them to learn from his spirit," said Ma.
The actors are all students from the university's Seagull Drama Society. The play serves as a part of the university's 100th anniversary celebrations.
The university's student union incorporated faculty members from relevant majors and invited experts to form a consultation team to help the play maintain historical and scientific accuracy.
