2025 Rolex Junior Championship: Embarking on a new era of excellence

A platform for champions
The Rolex Junior Championship will adopt a three-round, 54-hole individual stroke-play format. The winner will earn 1,250 Junior Ranking Points – 1.25 times that of a standard Tier-1 event – making this a pivotal contest in the national junior ranking system. The player field will not only assemble the champions from the boys' and girls' A and B divisions of the six Chinese Junior Level-1 tournaments, alongside the top-ranked players from the Junior Ranking System, but will also include several international junior champions.
On the day of the finals, the year-end rankings will be unveiled. Juniors will leverage the event's premium points to boost their rankings and secure spots on the National Junior Team. Winners gain the opportunity to represent China in AJGA international competitions, competing globally as ambassadors of the nation's elite junior talent.
Wei, CGA secretary-general, said: "The Rolex Junior Championship will attract elite junior players from across the world — a cornerstone for establishing the event's global impact. Its success rests on two other pillars: world-class facilities, as well as decades of industry expertise in junior development and cross-sector collaboration. We are dedicated to building an international junior platform that showcases China's golf and cultural achievements to the world."
