Cross-cultural dialogue on display in Rome

Artworks of various mediums of 46 Chinese and Italian artists are now on show at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Roma, to engage the audience in Rome in reflections of the past and discussions of how culture can better unite the world despite differences. The exhibition program East and West was initiated by Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in late 2021 and has been held thrice. The previous two shows were held in Shanghai.

The current exhibition at the Rome museum, a time-honored institution founded in 1883, also celebrates the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy this year.
