The Chongqing Belt and Road Journalists Station - Discover Chongqing Tour kicks off on Monday in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, attracting the photo contest winners and media professionals from five countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. They have received a total of 351 submissions from 12 countries—Sri Lanka, Argentina, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Peru, Namibia, South Africa, Serbia, India, and China. These submissions consist of 147 international and 204 domestic entries. Chongqing, a pivotal transport hub and economic center in southwestern China, has actively embraced the BRI since its inception.
