In recent years, in line with the overall potato industry development plan of Dingxi city, the company has proactively visited potato seed cultivation institutions, potato-growing farmers, and potato processing enterprises. After gaining a clear understanding of relevant needs such as irrigation, drainage for planting, and electricity usage for processing, it has increased efforts and investment in power grid construction. In 2025, the company is set to invest 931 million yuan ($129.14 million), with a cumulative investment of 3.64 billion yuan since the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). The funds are allocated to implement differentiated and precision-oriented power grid transformation and construction, effectively optimizing the grid structure and power supply guarantee capability of the Dingxi power grid, significantly supporting the development of the potato industry.

Meanwhile, service staff members have ventured deep into farmlands and processing enterprises, conducting patrols and inspections on power supply lines, water pumping equipment, and electricity meters. They keep a close track of electricity demand in real time and spare no effort to ensure safe, standardized, and reliable power supply for the growth of the potato industry.

Bolstered by adequate electricity, the potato industry has been developing at a fast pace. To date, the output value of the city's entire potato industrial chain has hit 25.4 billion yuan. It has not only emerged as a pillar industry that enriches the people and strengthens Dingxi, but has also become a "golden name card" in characteristic agriculture in Gansu and northwest China.
