During Shandong Week's "Jinan Day" at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan, the China Pavilion celebrated its 1 millionth visitor on July 30. The guest was a family from Osaka, who were greeted with a special welcome ceremony and received panda plush toys as souvenirs.
The family toured various exhibits showcasing the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. They also enjoyed traditional Shandong crafts like grain painting and wood carving, which are part of the ongoing Shandong Week activities.
The family members expressed their excitement and admiration for the pavilion's beautiful design and rich cultural content, noting that it deeply reflects China's rich historical and cultural heritage.
Since the expo's opening in April this year, the China Pavilion has been one of the most popular attractions. It has hosted numerous themed activities and more than 20 events from different provinces, featuring cultural performances, tourism promotions, academic exchanges, and business forums. These activities have drawn large crowds, showcasing the unique charm of China's diverse regions.
