Chinese president appoints new ambassadors
BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping has appointed new ambassadors in accordance with the decisions of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, an official statement said on Friday.
Xu Yong has been appointed ambassador to Cameroon, replacing Wang Yingwu.
Sun Yong has been appointed ambassador to Guinea, replacing Huang Wei.
Zhang Yang has been appointed ambassador to Cabo Verde, replacing Xu Jie.
Huang Zheng has been appointed ambassador to the Comoros, replacing Guo Zhijun.
Guo Zhijun has been appointed ambassador to Tajikistan, replacing Ji Shumin.
Ji Shumin has been appointed ambassador to Turkmenistan, replacing Qian Naicheng.
Zhao Deyong has been appointed ambassador to Burkina Faso, replacing Lu Shan.
Wang Jinfeng has been appointed ambassador to Jamaica, replacing Chen Daojiang.
Zheng Bingkai has been appointed ambassador to Barbados, replacing Yan Xiusheng.
Zhang Jianwei has been appointed ambassador to Thailand, replacing Han Zhiqiang.
