Marking the 80th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, Choi Yuen-yuen shared with China Daily the story of his father, an intelligence officer with the Hong Kong Independent Battalion of the Dongjiang Column. His father, Choi Chung-man, created maps and gathered intelligence that provided critical support to the allies.
