New aquatic product center opens for business in Guangzhou

The center is a development of the 31-year-old aquatic product trading market in the city's downtown Huangsha area. Since its establishment in 1994, the Huangsha aquatic product trading market has gradually grown into one of the largest live seafood trading markets in China, with an annual trading volume exceeding 320,000 tons and an annual transaction value surpassing 12.7 billion yuan ($1.78 billion).
