Tomorrowland, one of the largest and most iconic electronic music festivals in the world, made its China debut with a full indoor music showcase on Saturday and Sunday in Shanghai.

Named The Magic of Tomorrowland, the show was held at the brand-new Hero Dome, on the city's landmark Bund waterfront.

Tomorrowland, in partnership with Hero Esports, INS Land, and Budweiser, presented the production that features cutting-edge technology and offers an immersive experience that blends music, innovation, and unique storytelling with Chinese cultural identities.

The two-day show brought together an exceptional mix of international stars and local talents who delivered a series of unique collaborations. Among them, Dimitri Vegas closed the first night with an explosive performance and was joined by Chinese rapper Ma Siwei whose surprise appearance thrilled the crowd.

"Shanghai has an energy unlike anywhere else in the world," said Vegas. "The vibe of the people … here is truly incredible."

The Tomorrowland team said their goal was to bring the magic of Tomorrowland to the global stage, and that Shanghai welcomed them with open arms and unforgettable energy.

Danny Tang, chief executive officer and co-founder of Hero Esports, said magic happens when different worlds come together and that the Magic of Tomorrowland was designed to be a seamless, door-to-door experience from the moment guests begin their journey to every detail on site. Tang said organizers aimed to create unforgettable moments that bring people together, and look forward to bringing more such experiences to China.

Clinton Lau, CEO of The Magic of Tomorrowland, head of Hero Esports Music Festivals, and head of Music at INS Land, said: "We're not just bringing a festival, we're helping change the entire festival landscape in China. Tomorrowland represents magic, detail, and unity, and seeing Chinese fans experience that for the first time is incredibly emotional."
