SAIC Motor launches hybrid model in Israel

Chinese automaker SAIC Motor on Tuesday began sales of a new hybrid model in Israel under its MG brand, Israeli car importer Lubinsky Group said in a statement. The midsize crossover SUV MG S9, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle model, is known in China as the Roewe RX9. The seven-seat car is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor with a 24.4-kWh battery, providing an electric-only range of up to 100 kilometers alongside a combined range of over 1,000 km.

Railway employees join new training session

Chinese railway operators have intensified efforts to help staff members familiarize themselves with the newly adjusted train operation diagram. At Yuci Station in Shanxi province, staff members took part in a joint special study of the new plan, ensuring its full implementation by every employee at the station as well as its subordinate stations. The training focused on changes in passenger trains, freight trains and maintenance periods. They were also told to avoid possible equipment failures, train delays, and other abnormal situations to help safeguard smooth rail transport.
