5 dead in explosion at biotechnology workshop in Shanxi

An explosion occurred in a workshop at a biotechnology company on Saturday morning in Shanyin county, Shuozhou in Shanxi province, killing five people, local authorities said.
Following a thorough search and rescue operation, all five individuals who were trapped have been located. Unfortunately, none of them showed signs of life, according to a report by CCTV.
Currently, the cause of the explosion is unknown, but under investigation, and related follow-up work is being carried out simultaneously, according to the report.
