NEVs drive Shanghai Q1 auto export boom

More than 400,000 new energy vehicles were exported through Shanghai ports in the first quarter, representing nearly 70 percent of the city's total auto exports, said Shanghai Customs. To handle the growing demand for rapid customs clearance, authorities have established "green channels" and provided around-the-clock appointment services. Local customs offices are also utilizing big data and risk assessment to optimize inspection processes.

Data management boosts vehicle safety

Chinese railway operators have bolstered data management to better regulate the safe operation of construction machinery. As the Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway is undergoing spring maintenance and repair during intervals when trains are not running, a growing number of construction machinery and train sets are being used to reinforce the line. Yuci Station in Shanxi province has taken multiple measures to strengthen risk assessment, dynamically collect information on the involved facilities, and carefully verify data such as operating routes and grouping coordination. It aims to ensure the safe operation of construction machinery and trains in its jurisdiction.
