Farmers in Diandong village, Guangping county, Handan, Hebei province, have been busy picking, sorting and packaging cherries at a local orchard in recent days, part of a broader push to boost rural incomes.
In recent years, the county has adjusted its agricultural structure to promote specialty crops such as cherries, combining farming with tourism. Local authorities said the move has helped increase farmers' earnings and supported rural vitalization.
