China Sunergy plans US listing

China Sunergy Co Ltd, a solar cell products maker, said it was planning an initial public offering of as much as $100 million in American depositary shares.

Merrill Lynch & Co, Cowen and Company and Jefferies & Co will underwrite the proposed IPO, according to a preliminary offering document filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Nanjing-based company is seeking a NASDAQ listing.
