The Olympics Logistics Center (OLC) for the 2008 Beijing Games has handled more than 3 million articles since it opened last year.

And there have been some interesting deliveries.

The largest delivery was a 58.75 cubic meter keel block, and the longest were 10.9-meter canoes and kayaks, according to the center.

A special delivery of unusual size was an 8.8 cubic meter trampoline, while the smallest included Olympics commemorative badges and USB flash drives.

No accidents have been reported so far.

The center, established in March 2007, is responsible for logistics services for the 37 main Olympic venues, 15 non-competition venues and 72 independent training venues. It is operated and managed by the US-based United Parcel Service.

As part of the campaign to support a "green" Olympics, vehicles used at the center all meet the national phase IV vehicle emission standards. Each can decrease emissions by 50 percent compared with a car that meets phase III standards.

From March to September, 104 such cars at the OLC had managed to cut exhaust emissions totaling 3.3 tons, according to the center.
