BEIJING - Han Ren, who studies and trains in the United States, carded a three-under 69 to hold a single stroke lead after the first round of the Huzhou stop of the China Amateur Golf Futures Tour on Wednesday at the Huzhou Hot Spring Golf Club, Zhejiang province.

Xiong Cheng was second, one shot behind, while Zhou Guowu and Song Chao were tied in third place with two-over 74s.

In the women's field, Lu Zheng topped the scoreboard with a five-over 77, followed by Shi Yuting and Guo Guoyan, both one shot off the pace.
