The hand was originally invented by the Mihajlo Pupin Institute in Serbia, which is the first artificial hand that is tactile and can grab things at the same time.
The art exhibited is based on the painting A Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park by Diego Rivera, which depicted Frida Kahlo holding a yin and yang symbol.
