Tourists and residents in Shanghai will be able hire luxury Mercedes-Benz taxis to visit friends and relatives during the Chinese Lunar New Year Holiday, reports Shanghai Morning Post.

The city will have 50 Benz taxis starting from the holiday to provide more comfortable services.

Each vehicle costs 600,000 yuan (US$72,550), but the fare is the same as in common taxis, according to the newspaper.
