8月5日，六方會(huì)談進(jìn)入第十一天，超過了前三輪會(huì)談會(huì)期的總和，六國團(tuán)長連夜開會(huì)繼續(xù)磋商共同文件，中方發(fā)言人秦剛表示會(huì)談已經(jīng)到了尾聲，但有無共同文件并非六方會(huì)談成功與否的標(biāo)志。外電報(bào)道如下：China

protracted round of negotiations entered their tenth day on Thursday.
The chief U.S. envoy to the talks, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State
Christopher Hill, said Wednesday that Washington has done all it can.
"We're confident the Chinese will work very hard to get the DPRK to
sign onto the draft agreement," Hill said, referring to the North by the
initials of its formal name. Hill said he didn't know how long the talks
would last, but added: "I'm a patient person.
Protracted表示“拖延的，延長的”，其動(dòng)詞protract表示“拖長，延長，伸出，突出，用尺繪制”，例如：protract a
war（延長戰(zhàn)爭）；The cat protracted its paws.（貓伸出了爪子。）
美國代表團(tuán)團(tuán)長希爾表示，除了朝鮮，其他五方都已經(jīng)同意在中方提出的共同文件第四份草案上簽字。他強(qiáng)調(diào)美方不愿向朝鮮施加壓力，這應(yīng)該是朝鮮自己的選擇。
