打擊樂(lè)手 v.s. 指揮

I was a percussion major when
I was in university, and during a particular rehearsal of the student orchestra,
my section kept getting things worse.
“When you’re
too dumb to play anything,” the professor conducting us sneered, “they give you
a couple of sticks, put you in the back and call you a percussionist.”"
A friend next to me whispered, “And if you’re
too dumb to hang on to both sticks, they put you in front and call you a
conductor.”
上大學(xué)時(shí)我主修打擊樂(lè)，在一次學(xué)生交響樂(lè)隊(duì)的彩排中，我所在的打擊樂(lè)區(qū)表現(xiàn)不好，老是出錯(cuò)。
指揮我們的教授冷嘲熱諷地說(shuō)：“要是一個(gè)人笨到什么都不會(huì)演奏，我們就會(huì)給他兩個(gè)小棍兒，讓他到樂(lè)隊(duì)后部去，我們管這樣的人叫打擊樂(lè)手?！?BR>
我身邊的朋友悄悄對(duì)我說(shuō)：“要是一個(gè)人連兩個(gè)小棍兒都搞不定的話，就讓他樂(lè)隊(duì)最前面去，我們管這樣的人叫指揮?！?BR>
