Fengtai County plans to launch "Huaihe Custom Tour Program" to promote its scenery, tourist attractions, mountains, caves, as well as springs, rivers and lakes and water resources along Huaihe River.
Maoxiandong is located on the culture essence section of Huaihe River and a national AAA level scenic spot in Fengtai County.
According to the schedule, a middle-grade luxury sightseeing boat was built. With a designed capacity of over 100 people, the boat integrated local sightseeing, food and recreation.
It would cover 30 kilometers from Maoxiandong wharf to Tianjia'an Terminal with stops at Xiashankou, Heilongtan, Huaihe Bridge, Fenghuang Lake and Pingwei Power Plant.
"Huaihe Custom Tour Program" would become the only tourist attraction and culture tourism zone in the northern part of Anhui province that combines its cultural heritage and natural sceneries along with Huaihe River customs.
