Minzu Middle School in Zhefang, Dehong prefecture, received a donation of more than 7,500 books on Nov 19 from the Shanghai Pudong New Area Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, Dehong Youth Reading Club and the Party Committee of Zhefang town.
The books include 3,000 volumes donated by the Shanghai Pudong New Area Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, 1,000 volumes from the Dehong Youth Reading Club and 3,500 volumes from the Party Committee of Zhefang town.
Most books are considered extracurricular reading materials, covering politics, economics, and culture, which will help the students improve their reading skills and knowledge of community and world topics.
Minzu Middle School Principal Ye Enda expressed his gratitude to the donors at a ceremony accepting the books and presented pennants to the Shanghai Pudong New Area Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, Dehong Youth Reading Club and the Party Committee of Zhefang town.
