Vice-General Manager of Shanghai Stock Exchange Xu Ming visited Huaqiao International Business Park on Oct 12, accompanied by Guan Aiguo, Party secretary of Kunshan, Wu Yongmin, president of Soochow Securities, Shen Huafei and Zhang Zhenyue, deputy directors of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.
Established in 1990, the Shanghai Stock Exchange has attracted 931 listed companies that have issued 975 shares with market value of 14.84 trillion yuan ($2.37 trillion).
Located between Shanghai and Jiangsu, Huaqiao Economic Development Zone is the sole provincial development zone that focuses on modern services. Huaqiao has participated in Shanghai financial circles and attracted financial services outsourcing enterprises.
Xu visited the Financial Park and praised the development strategy, industry orientation of Huaqiao and good investment environment.
