Yin Jie, professor of the Research Center for Philosophy of Science and Technology, Shanxi University entered the list of the 2014 "China's cultural celebrities and four batches of talents". The list has been released by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
"China's cultural celebrities and four batches of talents" project is a national plan aiming to cultivate a group of influential and reliable high-quality talents who specialize in theories, news, publication, literature and art.
Through recommendation, experts review, comprehensive evaluation and public notification, 362 people entered the list including 3 from Shanxi province.
Professor Yin is the only education worker in Shanxi who has been selected as "China's cultural celebrity" this time, which embodies Shanxi University's achievements in talent cultivation.
