Series on Tai'an delicacies featured on CCTV-4
A television series on Tai'an delicacies was aired on the CCTV-4 Chinese international channel from Aug 9 to 12.
The four-episode series showcased fish dishes in Dongping county, different ways of cooking chicken in the Culai Mountain area, as well as tofu dishes and pickles from Tai'an. The series was shot over more than four months by the Tai'an municipal publicity department.
Dongping county is located in the southwest of Shandong province. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Dawen River and the Yellow River meet here. The water systems provide residents with means of creating a unique cuisine.
