The Yunnan Originwater Technology Co has established a membrane technology and industrialization base in the B-5-18-1 block of the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone, on 4 hectares of land to provide a workshop, building complex, switch room, and recycled-water treatment station.

This is one of the development zone's key business attraction programs, with most of its facilities in place. The zone invited officials and experts from its housing and urban-rural development and environmental protection bureaus and the fire brigade to take part in a planning bureau meeting on the membrane project, on May 7. The experts listened to project planning information and gave their suggestions, which the planning bureau will use to adjust the plan before submitting it for approval.
