An inclusive financial system development and new financial pattern building symposium was held on Aug 28 at the international conference hall in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone. Directors of Yunnan’s Federation of Industry and Commerce, Yunnan’s Finance Office and the Zone attended the symposium.

Yunnan plans to develop an inclusive financial system by building up a new financial pattern in the province. The pattern focuses on developing Kunming into a regional international financial center and at the same time constructing financial revolution pilot sites in border areas.

The symposium was co-organized by Yunnan’s Finance Office, Yunnan Federation of Industry and Commerce, Yunnan bureau of Xinhua News Agency and Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone. It was aimed at exploring the development of an inclusive financial system and discussing the construction of a new financial pattern in Kunming.

Wang Minzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Kunming Municipal Committee and director of the administrative committee of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone outlined the development of the zone in recent years, especially in the field of integrating finance and technology. He also invited entrepreneurs at the symposium to invest and expand their businesses in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone.
