Fund for Joint Investment Established in Fuzhou

According to Fuzhou’s foreign trade and economic cooperation bureau, the first-ever joint venture across the straits, Huifu Investment Corporation, Ltd., is located in Fuzhou. The establishment of the funds can be seen as a new approach to enhance cooperation across the straits after the previous collaboration with Taiwan on banking and insurance.
Haixia Huifu Investment Corporation, Ltd., was established under the permission of the National Reform and Development Committee with a registration fund exceeding over RMB 20 billion. It has been reported that the set-up of this fund is admitted by the State Council.
