Ningxia's Wuzhong launches eight-day gourmet festival for May Day

A gourmet festival kicked off on Tuesday in Wuzhong, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, to drive consumption, celebrate local cuisine, and foster cultural exchange along the Yellow River. The feast runs through the upcoming May Day holiday.
The eight-day event provides 60 intangible cultural heritage performances, 10 boutique travel routes, and the distribution of 14.2 million yuan ($2 million) in consumption vouchers. Free parking and transport ticket discounts are available.
The festival also offers over 800 tea houses, 154 booths, and a cross-regional initiative co-launched by nine provinces along the Yellow River to deepen cultural and tourism cooperation.
