A group of international travel bloggers recently visited Xunpu village of Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, and were transformed into "walking flower seas" by wearing zanhua, or flower hairpins, an intangible cultural heritage.
The ancient practice of wearing flowers carries the poetic wish of the Xunpu women: wear flowers in this life, and one shall stay beautiful for a lifetime to come. More than just an adornment, the blossoms symbolize a resilient and passionate love for life.
