The 2025 Changjiang Li Autonomous County Qiziwan Paddleboard Competition concluded Sunday morning in Shayutang community, Haiwei town, after two days of events with nearly 300 participants from Sichuan, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi and across Hainan province.
Organizers noted that it was the first paddleboarding event held in Changjiang, Hainan province. The competition featured multiple divisions, including open, masters and youth open categories. Events included a 400-meter individual buoy race, a 200-meter team relay on dragon boards, and a 200-meter fun race for family and fan groups.
Lin Feng, the women's open division champion, attributed her success to the clear waters, well-designed course and strong crowd support in Shayutang.
Ma Zegang, winner of the men's open division 400-meter individual buoy race, praised the local environment and amenities. "The surroundings are very comfortable, and the photographers took great pictures that made everyone happy. The food and accommodation were excellent - it was a pleasure to compete," he said.
